Challenge: Early Summer Festivals and Events » June 20, 2008

Summer is finally here. Hooray! You know what that means? Festivals, celebrations and parades. This weekend and next, there are a ton of community events all over Nashville. We want to see photos of community events (including all sorts of Independence Day celebrations). So check out one of the events below or find some other event to take your camera to, and take pictures like mad! This challenge ends July 7th.

Check out these cool local events coming up this weekend and next. Summer Solstice Friday, Taste of Music City, Nashville Puppet Festival, Music City July 4th: Let Freedom Sing!, Goodguys Hot Rod & Custom Car Nationals and the Music City Hot Chicken Festival.

When you upload photos, you'll see a spot to enter photos for this challenge at the bottom. To enter a photo you've already uploaded, go to your photo's edit page and enter it at the bottom of the page. To get to the edit page, click on the "Edit Photo" button on your photo's normal view.

At the end of the challenge (July 7th), we'll feature our favorites. Getting featured is good because it means your photo will get more views, and thus, more votes. So get out there and take pictures of local flare in these great community events!
