I'm a singer/songwriter who moved to the Nashville area 15 years ago after graduating from Nursing School. I am passionate about music, insects, and photography. Music and photography allow for self-expression and stress relief. The insect thing...well, I guess I'm just weird. My goal is to figure out a way to make a comfortable living that involves all three. And dogs, of course. I am open for suggestions. Many years ago, I took a photography class at a local community college, led by Bonnie Hudson. I later trained under her in the local newspaper's darkroom. Sidetracked by the labor of my profession, I put my camera down for many years, and have only recently reclaimed something that I dearly loved. I hope I make her proud while she's looking down over me. I found out about this contest less than a month ago, and I really appreciate everyone who has taken the time to vote and comment on my pictures.
