You're mixing two different topics. Do you think God doesn't love him as much or did you simply make better conscious choices and decisions? Whose fault is it that a lot of people are over their ears in debt?
I agree with Grammee's comment. We must never take anything for granted as each day and each one of us are truely a gift from God. While the presidential candidates spend enormous and ridiculous amounts of money to get elected, needless wars are being drawn out costing billions, along with needless governmental waste spending, I beleive taking care of our own people should be our government's first and most important priority.
While it can be pointed out that the Bible says if you do not work you cannot eat...it also makes it clear that if we beleive in God we should do what He says to do and we are asked to help those in need with out regard to why they have a need ...a paradox ? ....perhaps ...but I beleive if you love God you should love His people ...Unconditionally ...He provides more than I need so that I can help with what someone else may need ...IMHO
