June 2008. Our dear friends and Godparents to our daughter inherited this 100 year-old house from his Grandparents. It stands in the center of White Bluff, Tennessee. White Bluff is a little town outside of Nashville just West on 70, beyond Pegram but before Dickson as you travel westwardly. They have taken on its renovation with courage and love. When the house was ripped to its studs, they discovered a board which the builder signed in 1908. This picture was taken on the home's 100th birthday. The owners threw a birthday party, and invited all of those friends and family who have contributed to their move and restoration efforts. The restoration may take many more years, but the home couldn't be in better hands. I love the cheery exterior. Against the blue sky, this house seemed like it was dressed for a birthday party.
